How to play: You're ivory, moving downward; ebony moves upward. Click a highlighted piece, then click a highlighted square to move or capture — a piece reaching the far row becomes a king (marked with a crest) and can move both directions. Capturing is optional — move any piece you like — but a piece that does jump takes the whole chain if more jumps follow. Forty moves with no capture ends the game in a draw.
